General contraindications, excluding sending patients for treatment in health resorts and local sanatoria
- All diseases in the acute stage, chronic diseases in the acute stage and complicated by an acute process
- Acute infectious diseases before the end of the isolation period
- Epilepsy
- All diseases of the blood in acute and acute stages
- Cachexia of any origin
- Malignant neoplasms
Note:
Patients after radical treatment for malignant neoplasms (surgical, radiant energy, chemotherapeutic complex) with a general satisfactory condition, no metastasis, normal peripheral blood parameters can be sent only to local sanatoria for general restorative treatment). - All diseases and conditions requiring in-patient treatment, including surgical intervention, all diseases in which patients are not capable of independent movement and self-care, need constant care (except for persons to be treated in specialized spas for spinal patients)
- Echinococcus of any localization
- Frequent recurring or profuse bleeding
- Pregnancy in all terms for balneological and mud resorts, and for climatic health resorts, starting from the 26th week
- In addition, during all pregnancy terms, pregnant women should not be referred to resorts and sanatoria:
- for balneomud treatment of gynecological diseases;
- for the treatment of radon baths extragenital diseases;
- inhabitants of the plains to mountain resorts located at an altitude of more than 100 m above sea level
- All forms of tuberculosis in the active stage – for any health resorts and sanatoria of tuberculosis
- All venereal diseases in acute stage and stage of exacerbation
